St. Olaf Brass Night concert scheduled for Monday, April 30

NORTHFIELD, Minn. ? St. Olaf College student brass ensembles ? including the Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble, the Trombone Choir, a trumpet trio and horn ensembles ? will perform the spring edition of the St. Olaf Brass Night concert Monday, April 30, at the college.

Monday?s concert, free and open to the public, will be at 7 p.m. in Urness Recital Hall, Christiansen Hall of Music. The ensembles will present a varied program of music, including recent brass works by several senior music composition majors from St. Olaf. A special invitation is being extended to school-aged brass players and their families.

St. Olaf College prepares students to become responsible citizens of the world, fostering development of mind, body and spirit. A four-year, coeducational liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), St. Olaf has a student enrollment of 2,950 and a full-time faculty complement of approximately 300.
