The St. Olaf Men's tennis team was back in action on Tuesday, April 26th playing Division II Minnesota State-Mankato.

Senior Pete Nau (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) and junior Karl Wilbur (Edina, Minn.) teamed up and lost a close match at No. 1 doubles 6-8, while first-year twins Ted and Tom Nagel (Oglesby, Illinois) won at No. 2 doubles 9-8 in a tiebreaker. Junior Brandon Hall (Dubuque, Iowa) and sophomore Peder Thoen (Kolsas, Norway) lost at No. 3 doubles.

Down 1-2 in the match, the Oles looked to win four points in singles to capture the win. Nau lost a close match at No. 1 singles, while No. 2 singles Wilbur used three sets to dominate his opponent. No. 3 singles Thoen had a tough match and lost in straight sets, while Hall lost his match at No. 4 singles after battling in a close first set.
