Six St. Olaf music faculty members to present chamber music recital Monday

NORTHFIELD, Minn. ? Six St. Olaf College music faculty members will perform a chamber music recital Monday, March 12.

The recital, free and open to the public, will be in St. Olaf College?s Urness Recital Hall, Christiansen Hall of Music, at 8:15 p.m.

Faculty recitalists include: Jo Ann Polley, clarinet; Mark Kelley, bassoon; Catherine Rodland, piano; Kay Sahlin, flute; and Mark Seerup and John Snow, oboes.

The ensemble will perform Trio No. 2 for Flute, Clarinet and Bassoon by Francois Devienne; Fantasie No. 1 for Unaccompanied Oboe by Georg Telemann; Andante et scherzo, Opus 51 by Albert Roussel; Sonata for Clarinet and Piano by Bohuslav Martinu; Sonata in F major for Two Oboes and Bassoon by Johann Friedrich Fasch; and Three American Miniatures for Flute and Clarinet by John Rutter.
