KARE, CNN check out St. Olaf Rube Goldberg team

Twin Cities NBC affiliate KARE 11 visited campus recently to find out how many steps it takes a unique team of St. Olaf students to change a light bulb. CNN also aired the story.

With math, Russian, religion, music and biology students supplementing the physics majors, the St. Olaf team differs a little from the teams that represent more hard-core engineering schools at the contest. "We're able to think outside the box, not just math, engineering -- a little bit of everything," Kay Pelletier '10 told KARE. "We like to say we're a little more well rounded. It works."
