International Night to be held in Pause
March 10, 2007
Buntrock Commons, The Pause and Stav Hall, 7?9 p.m.
The 41st Annual International Night, themed 'Colour my World,' will run from 7-9 p.m. The event will include dance and music performances in the Pause followed by an international food reception in Stav Hall.
According to Luyen Phan, admissions counselor and lead planner of the event, "International Night is a celebration of the diversity of cultures and talents on the St. Olaf campus. It recognizes the importance of international students to the St. Olaf community and the global experiences all our students bring to the campus, regardless of their upbringing, citizenship, or study abroad and off-campus experiences."
More than 100 St. Olaf students contribute to the night through their organizational efforts, as performers or by preparing food for the reception. Tickets can be reserved through iso-officers@stolaf.edu, $5 students - $10 adults. Proceeds will go to an organization for children.
