The St. Olaf Orchestra, conducted by Steven Amundson, will perform in Boe Chapel Sunday, March 18, at 3:30 p.m. The concert, which is the first by the orchestra in the newly renovated space, is free and open to the public. It is also the first orchestral performance on campus to include the new Holtkamp organ. The concert will be streamed live online.

The program will include Samuel Barber's Toccata Festiva for organ, Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 and the Saint-Saens "Organ" Symphony. St. Olaf faculty members Christopher Atzinger (piano), John Ferguson (organ) and Cathy Rodland '87 (organ) will perform with the orchestra.

"Boe was a magnificent place for strings when we performed there in January," says Amundson in reference to a performance during a daily chapel service. "And of course we already know it?s a spectacular place for the organ."
