St. Olaf authors featured in scientific journal
March 16, 2007
St. Olaf Science Librarian Charles Priore and St. Olaf Associate Professor of Biology John Giannini have authored an article featured in the March/April 2007 issue of the Journal of College Science Teaching. "Integrating Bibliographic Software, Database Searching, and Molecular Modeling in an Introductory Biology Course: A Collaboration Between the Biology Department and the Science Librarian" details the duo's successful strategy of integrating the bibliographic software program EndNote, database searching and molecular modeling into an introductory biology lab.
The paper, which the authors presented at Colorado College before a group of librarians, faculty and IT professionals, was made possible by a grant from the Associated Colleges of the Midwest.
