HGTV solves decorating woes for Ole grads
March 26, 2007
Two Oles and their roommate received a living room make-over featured on HGTV's Decorating Cents that aired March 20 and 21. Ryan Elbing '04, Ben Hagen '04 and high school friend Kevin Hennessey share a three-story townhouse in Bloomington, Minn., that looked a little too much like their digs in Ytterboe Hall. As a result, visitors were more likely to hang out in the kitchen instead of the roomy, but uninviting, living room. With the help of HGTV's designer Joan Steffend and carpenter Jeff Meyer -- and $500 -- the living area was transformed into a warm and inviting space.
