Kierkegaard Library featured in Minneapolis Rake

By Tom Vogel
March 29, 2007

The April issue of the Minneapolis-based Rake magazine features a story on the Howard V. Hong and Edna H. Hong Kierkegaard Library and the scholars from around the globe, as well as Friis Arne Petersen, Danish ambassador to the United States, who assembled last fall to commemorate the library's 30th anniversary. Amidst this distinguished company, an appearance by Howard Hong -- "a whiz of a wiz if ever there was one" -- remained the highlight. The article describes how Hong accepted a standing ovation "with neither pride nor overdone attempts at humility -- but rather something more like genuine affection."
