Alumnus featured in article on conversion and faith

By Tom Vogel
December 12, 2006

St. Olaf alumnus Stefan Plambeck '85 is featured in a recent article about faith and individuals who choose to convert as adults. Plambeck, who sang in the St. Olaf choir while in college, now sings in the choir at Mount Zion Temple in St. Paul after converting to Judaism last year. He tells the Star Tribune that he, his wife and their son still get together with his family at Christmas. "Converting did not negate everything I was and am," he says. "I love my Ole friends, the conviviality and goodness there."
