Professor comments on Hatch complaint in Star Tribune
July 26, 2006
Minnesota Attorney General Mike Hatch, the DFL-endorsed gubernatorial candidate, has accused the Star Tribune of asking "sleazy" questions after it was revealed that a political rival had hired an investigator to conduct research on Hatch. St. Olaf Associate Professor of Political Science Dan Hofrenning doesn't think voters will remember much about the issue when the November elections arrive, but "I think it does reveal Mike Hatch to be a hard-charging, aggressive politician," he says.
