Men's and women's swimming team earn academic honor

The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has awarded the St. Olaf men's and women's swimming team with their academic All-America swimming team honor for the spring 2005 semester. To qualify for the award, the grade point average of the entire swimming and diving squad must average atleast 2.8 on a 4.0 scale. St. Olaf ranked in the excellent category, with a 3.0 or better grade point average for all team members on the eligibility list.
