Biology professor among researchers examining water quality in Mongolia

"Geeks in heaven" is how one scientist described the Minnesota Science Museum's St. Croix Watershed Research Station project that is examining water quality in mongolia. St. Olaf Professor of Biology Charles Umbanhowar Jr. is part of the crew looking for new species of microscopic animals and insects, and taking soil samples from dozens of lakes in Mongolia.
