St. Olaf hosts Covey seminar
August 18, 2005
St. Olaf College hosted an exclusive full-day Luminary Series seminar, called "The 8th Habit: From Effectiveness to Greatness," at the Minneapolis Convention Center Aug. 18.
Author and lecturer Stephen Covey presented material from his just-released book, The 8th Habit: From Effectiveness to Greatness, currently No.1 on the Wall Street Journal best-seller list.
"This was a unique opportunity for the college to partner with an internationally recognized author on leadership issues that affect our personal and professional lives," says Jan McDaniel, vice president for college relations at St. Olaf. "It was a very successful event."
Covey, an internationally respected leadership authority, family expert, teacher and organizational consultant, is author of the international bestseller The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, recently named as one of the top 10 most influential business books of all time by Forbes magazine.
Other Covey best sellers include First Things First, Principle-Centered Leadership and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families.
