NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- The annual St. Olaf College Volleyball Camp will draw female student athletes to campus Wednesday, June 21, through Sunday, June 25.

The camp is open to girls who have completed grades 7, 8 or 9 and who play at the beginning to intermediate level, as well as girls who have finished grades 9, 10 or 11 and who compete at the intermediate to advanced level. Registration forms are still being accepted.

St. Olaf College assistant women's volleyball coach Kathy Koehn will lead campers in two on-court sessions per day, focusing on drills, match play and skill development. Weight training and pool exercises will be used to complement the workouts. Campers will receive individual evaluation and instruction, and will have free time for social and recreational activities.

As an Ole volleyball player Koehn earned Most Valuable Player and All-Conference honors. She will be assisted by current and former members of the St. Olaf volleyball team, which has made six trips to the NCAA national tournament.

For a fee of $300, campers receive lodging, meals, instruction and a camp T-shirt. Those who want more information may call (507) 646-3043 or write to St. Olaf Camps, St. Olaf College, 1520 St. Olaf Avenue, Northfield, MN 55057-1098.
