Informational sessions will be held at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily and include a campus tour. St. Olaf Marsh Party JUNE 22, 2006 — Discover the St.Olaf Natural Lands with Professor of Biology and Curator of the Natural Lands, Dr. Gene Bakko. Bakko and his student staff will introduce you and your family to the many creatures who make St.Olaf their home for all or parts of the year. This event is ideal for families with children between three and ten. Plan to meet at Tostrud Center at the main doors between Skoglund and Tostrud. Time on the Natural Lands will be followed by lunch in Stav Hall in Buntrock Commons. The price of lunch is $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. Elite swimmers practice at St. Olaf camp JUNE 18, 2006 — Coached by a father-son duo, students learn valuable swimming technique in a welcoming environment at St. Olaf Swim Camp. With three pool sessions daily, dry land practice, group instruction, and an underwater video review, participants will enjoy professional coaching, a low athlete-to-coach ratio, and recrational activities like a bonfire and dance. The High Performance camp will be held June 18-22 for ages 13 through high school seniors, and the Advanced Training Camp will be June 25-29. Nationally known music camp hosted by St. Olaf JUNE 17, 2006 — From June 17-23, high school students from around the nation will attend St. Olaf Summer Music Camp for a week of intense and exciting study of choral, orchestral and band music. Through large ensemble, private lessons and classes, students will be challenged and encouraged to stretch musical abilities by a team of St. Olaf faculty and students. St. Olaf faculty welcomes first annual Piano Academy JUNE 17, 2006 — New in the summer of 2006, the St. Olaf Summer Piano Academy offers dedicated piano students an opportunity to work closely with St. Olaf piano faculty. Through master and music theory classes and private lessons these accomplished students will improve their skill and technique. Recitals are a chance to show off newly learned skills.
