Costume Designer & Makers: Monthly Meeting

A handful of costume folk have begun to meet regularly to get to know one another better and discuss the challenges and rewards of working in this industry. The group plans to meet monthly on the second Monday of every month from 6-8. While the locations will vary, the plan is to keep the time stable so folks can plan ahead. Even months will be more social, odd months will be “working” sessions. Future topics include contacts, working conditions, resources, helping new designers get started, pay equity, and more.
On March 13th, the group will meet at the Hamline University Costume Shop from 6-8pm. The Topic of “Contracts” will be led/moderated by Andrea Gross and Trevor Bowen.

This group is not specific to any particular affiliation. It seeks to cross pollinate between various organizations (USITT, IATSE, Technical Tools of the Trade, etc).
