SHOP MANAGER
Monkey Wrench Productions, LLC is looking for a full time proactive Shop Manager to help with their busy, fast growing business.
Monkey Wrench Productions is located in Golden Valley and is a local and national supplier of entertainment lighting, audio, video, rigging, drapery and expendables serving the industries of theater, television, film, schools, universities, themed environments and a wide variety of other facilities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Create and maintain office organization
• Order shop supplies as needed
• QuickBooks
- Create new part number coding system
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy
- Oversee QuickBooks organization
• Assist walk-in customers with product information and process purchases
• Handle incoming calls as needed
• Prep orders for customer pick-up
• Help with shipping as needed
• Manage closeout and clearance for back stock
• Provide customers with small quotes as needed
• Maintain inventory on shelves and create stocking purchase orders
• Oversee office staff and provide guidance as needed
• Other duties as needed
Required skills include:
• Strong knowledge of theatrical technology. Including knowledge of expendables, basic rigging, theatrical and concert lighting, as well as basic audio. Ability to learn and retain new technology information quickly.
• Experience managing employees
• Basic experience with installs and repairs a plus
• Ability to get fork lift license and CDL
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of QuickBooks, eBay a plus
• Proven ability to learn new software
• Self-starter
• Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Organizational and multitasking abilities
• Time management skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb to heights of 20 ft.

SYSTEMS MANAGER
Monkey Wrench Productions, LLC is looking for a full time Systems Manager to help with their busy, fast growing business.
Monkey Wrench Productions is located in Golden Valley and is a local and national supplier of entertainment lighting, audio, video, rigging, drapery and expendables serving the industries of theater, television, film, schools, universities, themed environments and a wide variety of other facilities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Do walk-thru with prospective customers as needed
• Provide prospective customers with detailed quotes for install
• Order gear for installs
• Coordinate labor and subcontractors for install schedule
• Maintain install tools and inventory
• Oversee install staff and provide guidance as needed
• Maintain entire order time line in QuickBooks
• Maintain a knowledge of new industry technology including pros/cons of comparable fixtures
• Assist walk-in customers with product information and process purchases as needed
• Handle incoming calls as needed
• Other duties as needed
Required skills include:
• Experience with theatrical installs
• Strong knowledge of theatrical technology. Including knowledge of expendables, basic rigging, theatrical and concert lighting, as well as basic audio. Ability to learn and retain new technology information quickly.
